  • Tempo PT & Running Performance is out-of-network with all insurance companies, BUT here’s why. Insurance companies often do not cover preventative and performance care beyond someone’s specific injury. At Tempo PT & Running Performance the goal is not only to resolve someone’s injury and get them back to doing what they love, but to also reduce the chance of that injury recurring again. The goal is to set you up for more success than when you started your care. This is the nature of injury prevention and performance-based PT. The benefit of this model of care is that you can get individualized and specialized care that insurance companies often do not recognize.

I can create a superbill upon request, which is an itemized receipt that individuals can submit to their insurance companies for possible reimbursement. I encourage anyone interested in this to contact their insurance to see if this is an option. Other forms of payment include HSA, FSA, credit card, and cash.

  • Comfortable clothes that you would typically work out in. Shorts are ideal to bring along for lower body conditions and any running gait analysis. If you are a runner, bring your running shoes. If you have multiple pairs you rotate or different ones you race in, please bring those along too if able.

  • For now, I am only licensed in the state of Minnesota for physical therapy and dry needling, so both myself and client both have to reside in MN. By the end of 2025, MN should enter the PT Compact allowing me to perform PT to clients in more states - more to come. If you are interested in receiving run coaching, however, you can live anywhere and I can coach from anywhere!
