  • Tempo PT & Running Performance is out-of-network with all insurance companies. By staying out-of-network, I work for and with you, not the insurance company. This means 100% of every session is 1-on-1 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy invested in helping you get back to what you love - timely and effectively.

Top 3 Reasons Why Out-of-Network Physical Therapy Can Benefit You

    1. You May Actually Save Money

With several insurance plans, you are often paying the full 'contracted rate' at a traditional clinic anyway, only to be shorted on time. Our transparent, flat-rate pricing is often more affordable per hour than the hidden costs of an insurance-based clinic."

    2. Fewer Visits, Faster Results

Because our sessions are 60-90 minutes of focused, high-level care, athletes typically get better in 4–6 visits. That’s less time driving to appointments and more time living life and enjoying your sport.

    3. Total Treatment Freedom

Insurance companies often refuse to pay for 'performance' or 'return-to-play' training. But for many active individuals, functional goals go beyond reducing pain. Being out-of-network allows me to bridge that gap, helping athletes from the initial setback all the way to feeling confident in their sports/activities. This is the nature of injury prevention and performance-based PT. The benefit of this model of care is that you can get individualized and specialized care that insurance companies often do not recognize.

Even though I am out of network, I can create a superbill upon request, which is an itemized receipt that individuals can submit to their insurance companies for possible reimbursement. I encourage anyone interested in this to contact their insurance to see if this is an option. Other forms of payment include HSA, FSA, credit card, and cash.
